Conflicting advice from influencers and algorithm-fed product lists. Websites with literally hundreds of different supplements, all sounding essential. Constant “best-ever” sales and “limited-time” flash offers that make it impossible to know what anything should actually cost.
The Wrong Type Of Resistance Training
The sheer hassle of measuring, scooping and mixing multiple bags and tubs of supplement every day seemed genuinely archaic in an age where you can push a button and a cab (maybe even driverless) appears in 3 minutes.
That kind of low-grade chaos leads to endless scrolling, comparing, second-guessing and still not feeling any better. Then top it off with routines so tedious no one sticks with them long enough to see results.
We realised most people don’t need more powders. Or more hype.
They need less decision fatigue. Less waste. Less friction between intent and action.
They also want, and deserve, less plastic in their routines. Especially when it comes to what goes into their bodies.

Why We started This
It was a classic case of scratch-your-own-itch. Mixed with a hatred of pointless complication and a deep love of efficiency.
About ten years ago, it became obvious that meal deals and leftovers weren’t cutting it for lunch. So we started building a single daily shake that could pack more nutrients and less rubbish into one cup than anything you could grab on a lunch break.
The supplements that went into that shake (and the hassle of sourcing, measuring, and mixing them) eventually became the seed of what is now TOTEMIC. A personalised daily supplement system.
We then spent a long time developing a totally plastic free, home compostable sachet system in response to the horror at the amount of plastic involved in sourcing all those separate supplements.

We built TOTEMIC for people who want the best health outcomes from the least friction. It exists to reduce complication, cut through the noise, and make consistency feel easy.
